- 1 in 8 Washington adults report having been injured by an intimate partner.
- Overall, about 15% of Washington adults reported experiencing domestic violence in their lifetime.
- More than 1 in 6 Washington 10th graders have been made to engage in unwanted sexual activity.

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign that raises awareness and galvanizes action to end violence against women and girls. Spanning from 25th November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence
Against Women, to 10th December, International Human Rights Day, this annual campaign reminds us that a brighter, violence-free future is within our reach. The Zonta Club of South Puget Sound, along with Zonta International, participates in 16 Days of Activism each year to raise awareness and action to end violence against women and girls.
