Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential.

In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men.

In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Zonta International was founded in 1919.

Zonta Club of South Puget Sound chartered in 1995.

There are over 26,000 members in more than 1,100 clubs throughout 64 countries and growing everyday.

All Service Projects supported by the Zonta Foundation for Women are partnered with UNFPA and UNICEF USA. Zonta International has General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Zonta International, its districts, and clubs are nonsectarian and nonpartisan.
